Wedding Day: Getting Ready

I've been dying to share the beautiful images that Bethany Small captured on our wedding day. I can't believe it's already been 6 months since we got married! Time has once again gotten away from me.

The morning of our wedding day, my best friend and maid of honor, Annie and I enjoyed a relaxing breakfast in bed while reminiscing about the past. She was an absolute saint for waking up at the crack of dawn to help calm my nerves from excitement. We lounged in our robes, listened to ridiculous music from the past and present, and sipped on coffee while awaiting the arrival of my Grandma and Mom. After they arrived, the fabulous Kirstie Wight joined us as our official glam squad extraordinaire for the big day. Kirstie made us each feel like a million bucks with perfectly coiffed hair, and beautiful make-up, while also sharing her top secret wedding day tips. Once I was fully zipped, buttoned and tucked into my dress, my Dad arrived to whisk us away to the ceremony (after we all exchanged a few tears of joy and lots of hugs).

  1. That father daughter moment is really amazing and I just love to be part of such emotional events. I also had same feelings when I got married at wedding venue in Los Angeles and my parents came to visit me.

  2. I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is needed to get set up? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very internet smart so I'm not 100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks hotmail sign in email
