Summer has returned to Portland, and with it a reminder of how much I love this place I call home. Somehow I managed to disappear for two months again! Between work, home improvements and weekend Oregon adventures, time has slipped away yet again. My one-year anniversary of so many wonderful changes came and went, but perhaps that signifies finding true happiness - not constantly waiting around with baited breath for the next best thing.
In addition summer's sudden arrival, B and I realized our wedding is just around the corner! After a first dress fitting in Seattle a few weekends back, ordering our invitations and researching our wedding bands, we can now enjoy fine-tuning the details. From our reception music choices to flowers and decor, we can't wait to savor our time this summer and not sweat the small stuff. Since the beginning, we made a pact to keep our wedding planning fun, and stress free.
This weekend, we sealed up our beautifully addressed Paper Source invitations - courtesy of Alesia Zorn, and can't wait to drop them in the mail this week. We had so much fun designing them (across 2,000 miles!) with my mom, and after countless phone calls, we are really pleased with the final result.
