Hometown Time

I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day weekend! I was fortunate enough to sneak home and visit my family in Colorado for the long weekend. Whenever I'm home, I love being able to savor the great outdoors and wide open spaces. As a teenager, growing up out in the country was less than appealing, but now as an adult I cherish the opportunity to unplug and unwind.

My time at home was extremely low key, filled with BBQing and relaxation. On Monday, my mom drove me up to Boulder for the Bolder Boulder, which is one of my favorite 10K races, as it's in my college town and brings the entire city together for one amazing race. I was even lucky enough to meet up with my friend from high school, whom I hadn't seen in almost 10 years.
