Flower Liberty Power

There have been a lot of exciting changes in my life recently - hence my hiatus for the past few months.  I'm extremely excited to share them with you all as I embark on this new chapter.

After my trip to Oregon last summer, I re-evaluated my life. I felt extremely discontent with the path I was traveling. Unhappy with my career, my lifestyle and my personal relationships, I decided to take a leap of faith and jump on to a new track. New York is an amazing playground with so much to offer, but it wasn't true to who I am, and who I wanted to become. I started to save up, and believed that come April 12th 2013, I would find myself in Portland.

I've officially been a resident for a month now, and already feel a world of change. I'm happy, slowly starting to build new friendships, focusing on my passions and finding my footing in an exciting new and rewarding career. I'm able to run on beautiful trails minutes from my apartment, and surround myself with inspiring and encouraging colleagues with my new job at Nike. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Don't worry though, my shoe addiction continues... but you might be seeing a little bit less stiletto, and a lot more swoosh. I look forward to sharing snippets of my new beginning with you.

A weight has been lifted and the clouds have cleared. Believe it or not, it can be sunny in Portland. It's a Lindsey Renaissance - and it's time to rename this blog! Suggestions are welcome... In the meantime, I leave you with a pair of shoes.
