Waking up in Oregon

My brief visit to Oregon left a lasting impression I will never forget. It's arguable that a vacation anywhere can leave you with a "grass is always greener" mentality, but that state seeped its way into my soul. After experiencing life on two different coasts, my time off reaffirmed my love affair with the west, and teased me with the desire to throw everything away and start anew in Portland. I've made some brave new decisions on my own. I found my true self in a way.

Go there, drink the water, drink the wine. You will be refreshed.

Looking forward to sharing snippets of my journey with you.

  1. Ooh I love that photo!! I have never been to the West Coast, but I know what you mean about wanting to move somewhere new and start over.
I always think that to myself, about moving to London or even NYC (NYC is closer, ha ha, only a 1.5 hr train ride)

  2. I haven't been to Portland, but what I do know about the city is that people can truly connect with it! I love this photo and can't wait to see more!

  3. I want a cherry off that tree. I suppose I'll have to deal with the store bought ones for now. LAME. I guess I can just look forward to cocktails and food and wine on Sunday!

  4. You're so pretty! I love this photo. I can't wait to hear more about this magical trip. LOVE YOU!

  5. Oh, I'm so glad you had a good vacation! You look super cute.
