The Brooklyn Flea

This morning Stephen and I woke up and wanted to enjoy a healthful breakfast. I whipped up some delicious peanut butter oatmeal, and we did some organizing in our apartment before trekking over to the Brooklyn Flea to look for some hidden treasures.

We walked to Fort Greene for the first Brooklyn Flea of the season and really enjoyed the sunshine and spring weather. It has been forever since we've left our apartment without a parka on! The Brooklyn Flea is a "hipster" take on the traditional flea market. It has tons of fun vintage furniture and clothing items - all sorts of hidden treasures for the perfect Brooklyn abode. I made the mistake of arriving without cash, and was left to lust after vintage polaroids, local food and retro suitcases. It was the perfect Saturday, and a great way to stretch our legs before settling in for the night.
