With a long weekend coming up, I'm already anxiously awaiting closing time tomorrow. My first Spring Fashion Week was an amazing whirlwind. My friend Valerie trained me on how to be a dresser, and I was fortunate enough to dress a couple big ticket shows the past week. While the excitement of my star-studded week has yet to wear off, I'm definitely ready for some R&R. At 5PM tomorrow, you'll find me scooting home on the subway to strap on my running shoes. It's supposed to be 60 degrees tomorrow - what an excuse to finally run outside again?! After fulfilling my 5 mile quota with Stephen by my side, we plan on scooting home and putting my new slow cooker to use. We're going to make some Pulled Pork BBQ and Mac 'n Cheese - my tummy is grumbling just thinking about it! Since last weekend was action packed with Stephen's friend in town, we're really looking forward to enjoying some grub at home and having a Netflix Marathon. On Saturday, we're going to check out the Barney's Warehouse Sale, new Alexander Wang Store and the Adidas Originals Store... afterwards j'ai mon cours de francais et donc le fête d'anniversaire pour mon amie, Lindsey. (I'm practicing!) I have to scoot home early from Lindsey's birthday party as my Cherry Tree 10-mile run is at 8AM sharp in Prospect Park on Sunday! I hope my race will be good prep for the Marathon next month in LA - it's been a while since I've run outside and been in race mode. After the race Stephen and I look forward to more "pit" activities - and a belated Valentine's celebration! We're going to make Beouf Bourguignon in the slow cooker, and plan to open one of our special wines from our Sideways trip in 2009.
